Hollow Glass Sphere, Hollow Glass Beads, glass sphere balls

Hollow glass balls are hollow spherical powdered non-metallic inorganic materials. Their particle size is 5-100mm with a wall thickness ranging from 1-2mm. The compressive strength ranges between 3-125MPa.

The following is a list of the most recent articles about Hollow Glass Beads Sphere Hollow Glass Beads : What is a hollow glass microsphere (microsphere)? Microspheres are hollow glass microspheres with a range of diameters from 10 to 30 micrometers. Hollow spheres fill composite materials like lightweight concrete or syntactic foam. The hollow spheres can be used to fill lightweight composite materials like syntactic polymer foam and lightweight concrete. Hollow glass bead This is a special type of glass bead that is less dense and has a lower thermal conductivity. It's a new type of micron grade light material, developed in 1950s and 60s. Its primary component is borosilicate. The particle size ranges from 10250mm to 12mm. Hollow glass beads feature high compressive strengths, high melting points, high resistivity as well as low thermal conductivity.
Hollow glass microspheres Micro balloons (also known as bubbles) are formed from borosilicate and sodium salt glass mixtures. They have low density, and they're resistant to heat and chemicals. The walls are made of Glass microspheres The spheres are typically rigid and about 10% thicker than their diameter. Spherical particles are available in a variety of densities ranging from 0.06g/C3 to 0.80g/C3, and particle sizes from 5um to180um. The wall thickness determines the compression strength of a hollowed sphere. This is expected as the greater the density, the higher it will be. Hollow glass sphere Chemically stable, nonflammable, and nonporous. Excellent water resistance. It is a trusted worldwide brand. Hollow Glass Sphere Hollow Glass beads Product Performance:
Hollow glass microspheres consist of hollow glass microspheres at the micron level with a smoothed surface. It is made up of borosilicate, which is the main chemical component. The sphere is hollow and transparent under an electron microscope. Hollow glass beads possess low density, good strength, resistance to acid and alkali, low thermal conductivity and electrical insulation, among other qualities. These new materials are multifunctional, have high chemical stability and fluidity.

How can you tell? Hollow Glass Beads Sphere Hollow Glass Beads Produced?
How do you make microspheres of glass?
1. Glass powder method
The glass powder method involves passing pre-prepared powdered glass containing SO3 through a flame heated between 1100-1500°C. Due to a decrease in solubility, and a change in atmosphere inside the kiln's atmosphere, SO3 or other gases dissolved into the glass are now escaping from the interior of the powder. During high temperatures, the glass becomes spherical because of the surface tension. The spillage gas forms hollow glass beads when it is sealed within the spherical particle.
2. Spray granulation is a method of granulation.
Spray granulation is made with a special auxiliary (boric, urea or ammonium pentaborate), aqueous sodium silicate solution, and through the nozzle, solution injection in the spray dryer is expected after drying, to drop to get a particle size of powder, the final product will be powder particles heating foam-forming hollow beads.
3. Droplet method
The liquid drop technique uses the same raw material as the spray-granulation method. The same amount of 10% ammonium-perborate aqueous solutions is added to 500 copies sodium silicate (M(SiO2):M (Na2O =2) as the raw materials. After evenly mixing, the hollow beads are sprayed onto the spray dryer tower.
4. Dry gel method
The alkyl sodium was added to dilute Hydrochloric Acid and decomposes with water. After gelation, gel was dried twice at 60°C and 150°C and then crushed in a ball mill. After grading was completed, dried gel powder was obtained. This was then foamed at 1280 in a vertical electric oven.

Applications Hollow Glass Beads Sphere Hollow Glass Beads :
Hollow glass microspheres have many applications, including glass fiber reinforced products, composite foam, artificial wood, compound, sound insulation and heat preservation, atomic-ash, deep sea buoyancy, bowling. sealing material, lightweight materials, resin, handicrafts such as the wall-hanging frame, sandwich-layer structure of lightweight packaging, electronic industry, absorbing materials, lightweight concrete.
Hollow glass microspheres are also coated to provide a conductive surface. These coatings, which are of optimal thickness, provide spherical materials with excellent shielding and conducting properties. They also maintain the weight savings that come with hollow low-density material. These conductive microbubbles can be used in military applications, biotechnology and medical devices as well electronics.
Hollow glass beads can reduce weight and improve sound insulation. The products are also resistant to cracking and have excellent reprocessing properties. It is used in the manufacture of composite materials like wood, engineering plastics, insulation material, rubber, buoyancy materials, FRPs, artificial marbles, man-made stones, the oil and gas industry, aerospace and communications, new high-speed cars and ships, thermal insulation coatings and adhesives.
