altUntil recently it seemed that only the unlocked iPhones are prone to infections of viruses and Trojans. It turns out that it is not. Swiss developer of applications on the iPhone proved that creating a program called SpyPhone. This application is able to steal large quantities of diverse information from the infected phone, including information such as geo-location data, passwords, address book entries, information about e-mail accounts, photos, history of Safari browser, logs keyboard, and many others.

Worse, this application was developed using the API, which is shared with the entire SDK from Apple. SpyPhone behaves like a typical trojan. All operations performed in the background, so that iPhone users can not see his work. Of course, the application can be properly programmed, so that the results of its activities shall send out the selected e-mail address.

Application Developer, Seriot, published on the web SpyPhone source code, as well as the document deals with the iPhone users' privacy.
